Parents I hope you are enjoying the break so far. I wanted to give you a few activities if you have time over the break.
*I sent home a My Money workbook Friday. This is from the Federal Reserve. It reviews our study of coins, goods, services, and bartering. It also teaches the characteristics of money on page 3. There are some great activities. When we return to school we will start working on word problems with money so please review and practice counting sets of coins and bills. Students need to practice using the ¢ and $ for sets of money for example $1.42 and 142¢. *Six Flags Reading: This log sheet is blue and was sent home a few weeks ago. Students can read 6 hours and receive a free ticket to six flags. This reading log is due the Monday we return and yes you can use any reading from your reading log (agenda) that you have already logged for February. It can count toward your reading checks and your Six Flags reading. This reading CAN included RAZ-Kids also. * Conceptua Math: Students have some new assignments and they have some that they can review again. *Xtra Math: Yes please review those math facts. It’s only 5 minutes a day! *Raz-Kids: Record your reading with a microphone also!! *Card-Zee: To review place value and comparing numbers *Closest to 100: To practice adding two-digit numbers *Symballoo Games: These are under learning resources on my blog.
